Celebrate the International Day of Families with the International Anglican Family Network

Join people across the Anglican Communion in praying for families’ health and wellbeing with prayers from our different provinces. This event is being organised by the International Anglican Family Network – one of the networks supported  by the Anglican Communion Office.

What is International Day of Families?

International Day of Families will be marked on May 15, 2026. Observed annually, this UN-designated day promotes awareness of issues affecting families, such as social, economic and demorgpahic changes, while encouraging improved family-centric policies.

The focus for 2026 is Families, Inequalities and Child Wellbeing.

 

Details

The Anglican Communion Office (ACO) is the official secretariat of the Anglican Communion – a worldwide network of Anglican churches, in over 165 countries. The ACO connects member churches, encourages global mission, fosters Christian unity, promotes ecumenism and amplifies Anglican advocacy.

The ACO also supports and facilitates the ‘Instruments of Communion’: The Anglican Consultative Council, The Lambeth Conference, the Primates’ Meeting and the Archbishop of Canterbury.
