Safeguarding at the Anglican Communion Office

The Secretariat of the Anglican Communion is committed to our safeguarding responsibilities regarding our staff and all the people we engage with.

If you have any safeguarding concerns about staff or officers of the Anglican Communion Office, please report them to our interim safeguarding officers, the Rt Revd Dr Jo Wells and Canon Stephen Spencer, by email: safeguarding@anglicancommunion.org.

If a safeguarding concern relates to a member church, province or diocese, please contact the person responsible for safeguarding in that province or diocese.

Safe Church across the Anglican Communion

Safeguarding within the Anglican Communion has its primary focus within the individual member churches. The Anglican Communion Safe Church Commission works to help churches with Safe Church and safeguarding. It promotes the Anglican Communion Safe Church Charter.

The Commission provides guidance, training and resources to support provinces and dioceses in developing safe church practice.
