Young Adult Anglican Advocacy Project: Programme Manager
The Anglican Communion Office is seeking a Programme Manager to help establish The Young Adult Anglican Advocacy Programme, a new training and mentoring scheme for young adults across the Anglican Communion.
The exciting initiative will equip selected young adults to advocate for social and political change in their own local contexts. Participants will take part in a year-long programme of online training, mentoring opportunities and in-person attendance at United Nations events.
The Programme Manager will play a key role in developing and delivering the programme, working with the Director of International Advocacy and partners across the Communion.
The role will include coordinating recruitment, organising training and travel, supporting participation in UN events, gathering feedback and helping to build a thriving alumni network of young Anglican advocates.
About the role
This is a three-year fixed-term role, offered at 0.5 FTE.
Hours:
17.5 hours per week, worked flexibly across the week, with a weekly team meeting on Tuesdays.
Salary:
Pro rata from £45,000 per annum.
Location:
St Andrew’s House, 16 Tavistock Crescent, London.
The ACO office is based in Westbourne Park, 2 minutes from Westbourne Park tube. Located near Notting Hill’s Portobello Road.
Line manager:
Director of International Advocacy for the Anglican Communion.
