Take part in a worldwide celebration of prayer and action to protect our common home
Anglican churches are joining with other Christian denominations in the Season of Creation.

Celebrate God as Creator
The Season of Creation runs from 1 September – 4 October, and is launched with ‘The Feast of Creation in Christ’.
It is a special season to celebrate God as Creator, and acknowledge Creation as the divine continuing act that summons us as collaborators to love and care for the gift of all that is created.
As followers of Christ from around the globe, we share a common call to care for Creation. We are co-creatures and part of all that God has made. Our well-being is interwoven with the well-being of the Earth.

This year’s theme is Living Water
The theme for the Season of Creation in 2026 is Living Water.
Drawn from Ezekiel’s biblical vision (Ezekiel 47:1-12), it highlights a river of life flowing from God, restoring barren lands, reviving polluted waters, and sustaining flourishing ecosystems. It focuses on ecological healing, hope and the interdependence of humanity and nature.
Access resources, prayer materials and promotional materials to observe the Season of Creation in your church on the official website for Season of Creation.
