Madras Christian College has initiated a solid waste management project aimed at transforming the institution into a zero-waste campus. Launched in January 2022, the project involves student and staff training, installation of waste bins, and awareness-raising activities such as street theatres. The initiative has led to improved waste segregation and recycling practices, contributing to reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
