LES APPELS DE LAMBETH (Francais)
- Declaration
The 2022 Lambeth Conference shared a number of Lambeth Calls that related to themes in church and world affairs. Each Lambeth Call was developed by a drafting group made up of bishops, clergy and laity from around the Anglican Communion, led by a Primate or senior bishop. They were then discussed during the conference. Themes of the Lambeth Calls include: Mission and Evangelism, Discipleship, Peace and Reconciliation, Environment and Sustainable Development, Inter Faith Relations, Christian Unity, Human Dignity, Safe Church and Anglican Identity. This edition of the Lambeth Calls, published in 2023, incorporates updates that were made by the drafting groups following feedback given by bishops at the Lambeth Conference in 2022. The Lambeth Conference is an ‘Instrument of Communion’ and as such, the Lambeth Calls were offered as gifts, to the Anglican Communion. They were intended to be explored by churches and communities and taken forwards in a way that is most applicable to local settings. The Lambeth Calls document is translated in up to 8 languages. This is the French edition.
