The International Commission of the Anglican-Orthodox Theological Dialogue met in Salisbury, UK, in October 1999 to discuss doctrinal differences between the Anglican and Orthodox Churches. The meeting focused on the nature and authority of episcopal ministry and the issues of conciliarity and primacy, continuing the third phase of dialogue that began in 1989.
