The Inter Anglican Standing Commission on Ecumenical Relations (IASCER) convened in Cairo, Egypt, from December 5 to December 10, 2007. The meeting, chaired by the Most Revd Drexel Gomez, focused on reviewing international ecumenical dialogues involving Anglicans and discussing the Anglican Covenant. The commission also addressed issues related to Holy Communion and the Doctrine of the Church.
