This joint statement addresses the intersection of gender, faith, and the COVID-19 pandemic, highlighting the role of faith-based organisations in promoting gender equality and justice. It discusses the gendered dimensions of the pandemic and calls for strong, intersectional responses that prioritize women’s rights and gender equality.
The Anglican Communion Office (ACO) is the official secretariat of the Anglican Communion – a worldwide network of Anglican churches, in over 165 countries. The ACO connects member churches, encourages global mission, fosters Christian unity, promotes ecumenism and amplifies Anglican advocacy.
