This document is a report from the Anglican Communion Office at the United Nations (ACOUN) detailing their activities and engagements with the United Nations. It highlights the integration of Anglican voices in global discussions on environmental issues, gender justice, and peacebuilding, among others, since the last ACC meeting.
The Anglican Communion Office (ACO) is the official secretariat of the Anglican Communion – a worldwide network of Anglican churches, in over 165 countries. The ACO connects member churches, encourages global mission, fosters Christian unity, promotes ecumenism and amplifies Anglican advocacy.
The ACO also supports and facilitates the ‘Instruments of Communion’: The Anglican Consultative Council, The Lambeth Conference, the Primates’ Meeting and the Archbishop of Canterbury.
