Réseau francophone de la Communion anglicane (RFCA)
The Réseau francophone de la Communion anglicane (RFCA) is the official body dedicated to connecting the 4 million French-speaking Anglicans and Episcopalians across the globe. As an official network of the Communion, its primary mission is to inform and assist French-speaking Anglicans in their local mission and ministry. The network serves as a crucial bridge, strengthening the ties between diverse Francophone communities and promoting their active engagement in the wider life and mission of the Church.
RFCA facilitates communication and encourages the sharing of valuable resources among French-speaking churches. This includes providing access to key liturgical and theological materials in French, such as translations of the Book of Common Prayer, the “Bible Nouvelle française courante,” and publications like the “Magazine anglican.” By creating a space for dialogue, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas, the network helps to overcome geographical and cultural distances. It ensures that the rich heritage and vibrant witness of the Francophone parts of the Anglican Communion are celebrated, supported, and integrated into the global Anglican family, which is united by its shared discipleship of Jesus Christ and communion with the Archbishop of Canterbury.
