The Inter Anglican Standing Commission on Ecumenical Relations (IASCER) held its final meeting in Kyoto, Japan, from December 3 to December 8, 2008. The meeting, chaired by the Most Revd Drexel Gomez, focused on reviewing current international ecumenical dialogues involving Anglicans and planning a comprehensive report for the Anglican Consultative Council. The Commission expressed gratitude for the hospitality of the Nippon Sei Ko Kai and the Diocese of Kyoto.
