The Third Anglican – Lutheran International Commission (ALIC) held its first meeting in Moshi, Tanzania, from January 13-19, 2006. The commission, established by the Anglican Consultative Council and the Lutheran World Federation, aims to advance Anglican-Lutheran relations globally, focusing on issues such as the historic episcopate and theological education.
