This document is a communiqué from the preparatory meeting for the Anglican Oriental Orthodox International Commission held at Dunford House, Midhurst, England, from 27-30 July 2001. The meeting, co-chaired by His Eminence Metropolitan Bishoy and the Rt Revd Dr Geoffrey Rowell, aimed to upgrade the Anglican-Oriental Orthodox dialogue to a Commission and set the agenda for future discussions on theological issues.
