The Anglican–Oriental Orthodox International Commission held its eighth meeting from October 28 to November 1, 2019, at All Saints Anglican Cathedral in Cairo, Egypt. The Commission continued its dialogue on ‘Authority in the Church’ and reviewed the draft agreed statement on ‘The Inheritance of Ecumenical Councils’. The meeting included discussions on ecumenical texts and future work programmes, and was marked by interactions with local church leaders and visits to community projects.
