The Anglican–Oriental Orthodox International Commission held its seventh meeting in October 2018 at the Syriac Orthodox Patriarchal Residence in Lebanon. The communiqué highlights the Commission’s discussions on Authority in the Church and the Ecumenical Councils, as well as the critical situation of Christians in the Middle East. The meeting was marked by the election of new Oriental Orthodox leaders and a dedication to the late Metropolitan Bishoy.
