The Anglican-Lutheran International Commission held its sixth and final meeting in Jerusalem from 18 to 25 June 2011. The meeting focused on writing the final report entitled ‘To Love and Serve the Lord’, which emphasizes the theme of diakonia, the service and witness of the Church. The Commission addressed the challenges faced by Christians in Jerusalem and Palestine and discussed the dedication of local churches to advocate for peace and provide education and healthcare.
