This document outlines the rationale behind a lectionary designed for one reading each day, as proposed by Dr. Carol Wilkinson. It discusses the development and adoption of this lectionary, which is attached to the Anglican Cycle of Prayer, and provides insights into its thematic and seasonal structure.
The Anglican Communion Office (ACO) is the official secretariat of the Anglican Communion – a worldwide network of Anglican churches, in over 165 countries. The ACO connects member churches, encourages global mission, fosters Christian unity, promotes ecumenism and amplifies Anglican advocacy.
