This document is a statement from a group of Anglican bishops calling for urgent action on climate justice. It was issued during a conference in South Africa in February 2015 and emphasizes the spiritual, economic, scientific, and political dimensions of the climate crisis.
The Anglican Communion Office (ACO) is the official secretariat of the Anglican Communion – a worldwide network of Anglican churches, in over 165 countries. The ACO connects member churches, encourages global mission, fosters Christian unity, promotes ecumenism and amplifies Anglican advocacy.
The ACO also supports and facilitates the ‘Instruments of Communion’: The Anglican Consultative Council, The Lambeth Conference, the Primates’ Meeting and the Archbishop of Canterbury.
