This document provides an overview of the UN World Women’s Conferences held between 1975 and 1995. It details the progression from the International Women’s Year in 1975 to the Fourth World Conference on Women in 1995, highlighting the policies and global movements that emerged from these events.
The Anglican Communion Office (ACO) is the official secretariat of the Anglican Communion – a worldwide network of Anglican churches, in over 165 countries. The ACO connects member churches, encourages global mission, fosters Christian unity, promotes ecumenism and amplifies Anglican advocacy.
