Progress in the Anglican Communion Missionary Appeal
The Conference, holding the Anglican Congress to be of great value to the life of the Anglican Communion,
- reaffirms the desire expressed at the Anglican Congress of 1954 that another such Congress be held;
- respectfully requests the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Presiding Bishop of the Protestant Episcopal Church in the United States of America to appoint a committee of bishops, priests, and lay persons to make arrangements, in accordance with the resolution of the Anglican Congress 1954;
- asks that special consideration be given by this committee to the question of holding this Congress outside the English-speaking countries;
- suggests that the date of the Congress be 1963; and
- recommends that the major topic should be "The World-wide Mission of the Church."
