Resolution 52
The Unity of the Church - The Church of South India
We
endorse generally the paragraphs in the Report of our Committee on Unity which refer to South India;
give thanks to God for the measure of unity locally achieved by the inauguration of the Church of South India, and we pledge ourselves to pray and work for its development into an ever more perfect fulfilment of the will of God for his Church; and we
look forward hopefully and with longing to the day when there shall be full communion between the Church of South India and the Churches of the Anglican Communion.
