The International Commission of the Anglican-Orthodox Theological Dialogue met in the International Study Centre, Canterbury Cathedral, in the United Kingdom, from Monday, June 21st - Friday, June 25th, 2004.

International Year of the Family: Ten Years On - Problems and Progress (Trinity 2004)

asks what has been achieved since the International Year of the Family in 1994. Articles from a wide range of countries tell of the increasing number of single parent families, of the changing role of parents with more women becoming the breadwinners and some men becoming more involved with the care of their children. A major concern over the ten years is the spread of HIV/AIDS and the newsletter tells of practical projects developed to help those affected by the pandemic.

The Anglican Consultative Council and the Lutheran World Federation, in accordance with the resolutions of the Twelfth Meeting of the Anglican Consultative Council in Hong Kong in September 2002, and the commitments of the Tenth Assembly of the Lutheran World Federation in Winnipeg in July 2003, approve the establishment of a new Anglican-Lutheran International Commission (ALIC), with the following mandate. 

In April 2004 in Nairobi the Mission and Evangelism Co-ordinators from the Provinces of Africa met to look at mission in their own contexts and to find a way forward.

The final meeting of the Anglican Communion - Baptist World Alliance Conversations took place in Regent's Park College, Oxford, 26 to 27 March 2004, by the kind invitation of the Principal, the Reverend Prof. Paul Fiddes.
