Heirs of the Treasure of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is a course exploring six decades of ecumenical dialogue between Anglicans and Catholics through the ARCIC texts\, examining what remains distinctive to each tradition and what is still needed for unity. The course forms part of the ACR’s 60th anniversary celebrations. \nWhere is the course?\nHosted at the Anglican Centre in Rome. \nWho is leading the course?\nThe Revd Canon Dr Jamie Hawkey\, Canon Theologian of Westminster Abbey. \nWhat will the course feature?\nMornings are spent in seminar discussion at the Anglican Centre in Rome; afternoons visit one of Rome’s great churches\, each paired with that day’s theme and accompanied by a Roman Catholic scholar. SUMMARY:Primates' Meeting - 2027
DESCRIPTION:The Archbishop of Canterbury\, the Most Revd and Rt Hon Dame Sarah Mullally\, has called the next Primates’ Meeting\, to be held from 28 February – 5 March 2027 in Johannesburg\, hosted by the Anglican Church of Southern Africa. Formal notification of dates has been sent to the Primates from Lambeth Palace. \nThe Primates’ Meeting is an ‘Instrument of Communion’ that seeks to foster unity and collaboration between Anglican churches around the world. The meeting provides space for prayer\, fellowship and consultation on shared priorities in church and world affairs. \nThe agenda\, which will explore mission\, service and advocacy\, will be developed in consultation with the regional primates in the months ahead. \nPrimates who have been installed since May 2024 are invited to arrive on 27 February 2027 to participate in an induction session. \nA summary of the schedule is as follows: \n• Saturday 27 February – Arrival of Primates installed since May 2024\n• Sunday 28 February – Arrival of other Primates and New Primates’ Induction Session\n• Monday 1 March to Thursday 4 March – Primates’ Meeting\n• Friday 5 March – Departures
