The sheer size of the Anglican Communion presents huge challenges for communications. But with tens of milllions of Anglicans and Episcopalians in over 165 countries, there are many stories to be told of lives and communities transformed and injustices challenged.
There is a small communications team at the Anglican Communion Office in London. It liaises with communications staff in many of the provinces around the world to gather news and information.
The Communications team is responsible for producing the news Anglican Communion News Service, which carries news items from around the world. There are also regular videos, blogs and feature stories. These are also published on its social media channels. Subscribe here to get the daily news bulletin emailed directly to you.
The Communications team provides a range of materials and support for the media, including press releases and film footage. It also runs media conferences and major Anglican Communion events and provides accreditation for media representatives. See media page.
Anglican World was a quarterly magazine published by the Anglican Communion Office. The final printed edition was produced in late 2018. Read recent issues here.
In 2019, it will be re-launched as a free-to-download annual report. Details to follow soon.
