Kibungo Diocese Launches Rice Project

[L'Eglise Episcopal au Rwanda - Rwanda] The Bishop of Kibungo Diocese, the Rt. Rev. Josias Sendegeya, has said that his Diocese is putting in place an income-generating project for associations which have 1500 members.

The Diocese is to buy a machine for grinding rice. Many Kibungo residents have started growing rice in order to benefit from the project. The project is aimed at improving the welfare of the locals, as it has been government's agenda to eradicate poverty countrywide.
