[L'Eglise Episcopal au Rwanda - Rwanda] The second summit for inter-faith action for peace took place in South Africa on 18th April 2005.
The peace summit, which brought together over 249 people, aimed at opening gates for peace and love on the African continent. The event gathered religious bodies from all over the globe.
The inter-faith summit brought together Christians, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, and the Bahá'í. According to World Religious for Peace reports, Africa has been found to have lots of conflicts which require prayers and actions from religious bodies.
In Rwanda, the Archbishop of the Anglican church, His Grace Emmanuel Kolini, is the President of the inter-faith body. The Rwandan faith body brings together all the religious groups in the country.
