[L'Eglise Episcopal au Rwanda - Rwanda] A throng of thousands gathered to attend an international crusade in the Anglican Diocese of Shyira, in the northern part of Rwanda.

The extraordinary gospel crusade, which started on Wednesday 25 July, was officially opened by the leader of the Province of the Anglican Church of Rwanda, Archbishop Emmanuel Kolini, who told the people to repent of their sins in order to bear good fruit. He also encouraged them to love one another so that they would be able to enter the kingdom of God.

In a two-hour sermon, the Archbishop urged both the clergy and the flock to preach the gospel of truth and thereby to please God the Almighty.

The crusade formed part of a five-day conference that brought together Rwandan government officials, prominent church leaders and peace activists from the Global South, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
