[L'Eglise Episcopal au Rwanda - Rwanda] The Episcopal Church of Rwanda is to do the necessary in a bid to help street kids.
This was disclosed by Archbishop Emmanuel Kolini, the leader of the Episcopal Church of Rwanda, while addressing the street kids today, May 4th 2005, at the Diocesan hall in the capital, Kigali.
The kids, who numbered between 70 to 80, are to be given clothing and other basic needs to enable them to experience the good life, according to Archbishop Kolini. The prelate added that Bible teachings and HIV-AIDS messages are to be passed to the street kids.
The 1994 genocide left Rwanda with many orphans. The government of Rwanda, and some international children's agencies, have been working around the clock to solve the problem of street children.
