[Diocese of Mauritius - Indian Ocean] The Diocesan Choir has been officially launched on Saturday 04 June.
The event took place at St Thomas Church in Beau Bassin. The Rt Revd Ian Ernest, Bishop of Mauritius presided over the ceremony. He was accompanied by the Archdeacon of the Diocese, Venerable James Wong Yin Song. The Choir Master is Mr Gilles Marie Jeanne. The latter has more than twelve years experience in the music field.
The choir is presently composed of forty members. Just to recall that it is Rev Eddy Cheong See who is the chaplain of the Music Commission of the Diocese.
