[Diocese of Mauritius - Indian Ocean] We were very privileged to welcome in our midst in February two brilliant lecturers.
On Tuesday February 1, Rt Rev. Dr Johannes Seoka, Bishop of Pretoria and Vice-Chairman of the Council of Anglican Provinces of Africa, delivered a talk at St Clement Church on the theme “The African Anglican Church of to-day”.
Rt Rev James Tengatenga, Bishop of South Malawi, addressed the floor on Monday 28 February at the Octave Wiehe public auditorium on the theme “Religion and the State”. This activity was organised by our Training Centre in collaboration with the University of Mauritius.
Bishop James Tengatenga, who presided our clergy retreat in February, spoke on the theme “Servant Church”.
