[EAB Press - Burundi] Mrs. Claudette Kigeme joined women from the 12 Anglican Provinces in Africa who gathered to discuss issues relating to their empowerment and survival.

One of the main speakers was Archdeacon Taimalelagi, the Anglican Observer to the United Nations, who encouraged the organising body, the International Anglican Women’s Network (IAWN) to extend its effectiveness in serving the needs of women.

Claudette shared ways in which Mothers Union is contributing to making poverty history.
