Congratulations to New Bishop

[EAB Press - Burundi] The Province congratulates Revd. Eraste Bigirimana on his election as the first Bishop of the new diocese of Muyinga. Revd. Eraste has been working as diocesan secretary for the diocese of Gitega since 1994.

He studied social sciences and African literature and language at the University of Burundi. He also studied theology at Uganda Christian University. He was ordained in July 2001.

The consecration is planned for 11th Sept. 05 when the new diocese will be inaugurated.
