Ø 16 April – the Province looks forward to welcoming back to Burundi the Rev. Roger Bowen and his wife Miranda. Supported by CMS, Roger will be teaching at the Theological Institute at Matana, while Miranda works in the area of health care and HIV/AIDS.

Ø 21-22 April – Bishop John Nduwayo and Bishop Bernard Ntahoturi along with representatives from the dioceses of Gitega and Matana will be attending CMS Ireland’s Mpower conference in N. Ireland. With delegates from 14 countries, they will engage in a consultation on partnership in mission.

Ø 2 June – election of the next Archbishop of Burundi.

Ø 13-26 June – Bishop Martin will attend the ACC-13 meeting in Nottingham, UK.

Ø 13 June – Buye diocese synod and election of a new Bishop of Buye.

Ø 16- 20 July – Visit to Burundi by the Archbishop of Canterbury and Mrs Jane Williams.
