Development Projects in Uganda

[EAB Press - Burundi] Representatives from the Province working in the area of development joined the Province of Uganda’s Planning, Development, and Rehabilitation department to share experiences.

The group was able to visit several dioceses to see some of their development projects. These included the Bowa Banana Project, the Clonal Coffee Project, and the Namukozi Organic Farming Project.

There was also an opportunity to see some of the HIV/AIDS programmes being implemented by Namirembe diocese’s Health Department and TASO.

Included on the itinerary was Uganda Christian University, Mukono, where a number of students from Burundi are currently studying.
