New Bishop of Tulear Consecrated in Antananarivo

[Diocese of Antsiranana - Indian Ocean] The Rev Todd MacGregor was consecrated Bishop of Tulear and assistant bishop of Antananarivo on December 10, in St Laurent Cathedral in Antananarivo.

This new Diocese in Madagascar has been approved by the Provincial Synod of the Province of the Indian Ocean.

The Bishop of Southern Florida in the United States, the Right Rev Leo Frade, attended the consecration. He was representing the original parish of Bishop Todd and his wife Patricia.

Todd worked as missionary in the Diocese of Antananarivo for 11 years, then moved to the Province of Kenya in 2002.
