[Diocese of Antsiranana - Indian Ocean] BISHOP ROGER CHUNG JAOMALAZA CELEBRATES THE EUCHARIST ON NEW YEAR'S DAY 2009 AT ST PAUL'S CHURCH PLAINE VERTE IN MAURITIUS AND VISITS THE CHURCH IN POUDRE D'OR . Archbishop Ian who is serving as interim Rector at St Paul's invited Bishop Roger Chung Jaomalaza to celebrate the New Year's Eucharist at St Paul's Church in Plaine Verte. The New project of the extension of the Emmanuel Hall adijacent to the Church is nearly completed which means more space for Sunday school, prayers meetings; cell groups.. etc. The Cell Church Model activated by the Church , with the help of the now Bishop Albert Vun of Sabah Diocese since Bishop Roger was Rector at St Paul's, is bearing much fruit.
Bishop Roger also visited St Mark's Church at Poudre D'Or which he replanted with St Paul's Church leaders while he was the Provincial coordinator of the Decade of Evangelism .The Church is now being served by the Revd Eddy Cheong See who resides at Pamplemousses.
