[Diocese of Antsiranana - Indian Ocean] A 4-1/2 hour Easter celebration in the Parish of Ambanja included the ordination of two deacons, the commissioning of three deaconess-pastors and a wedding, reports the Bishop of Antsiranana, the Right Revd. Roger F.H. Chung Po Chuen.
The celebration also marked the restoration of the parish, which took place at the initiative of the chairman of the church council, Mr. Bary Michel. Sadly, reports Bishop Chung, Mr. Michel died shortly before Easter. "But," he notes, "all who trust in the Lord live forever!"
