The Episcopal Theological College of Kigali, which is still under construction, has employed around 300 Kabuga residents, an action that has helped the residents to fight poverty.
The residents have completed one year doing casual work at the site. This has helped Kabuga society to earn a living, according to Bishop Josias Sendegeya, who has been touring the site.
The college is to open in January 2006, ready to offer courses like peace-building,HIV-AIDS ministry, theology and many more, according to Bishop Josias. He is Provincial Secretary of the Province of the Episcopal Church of Rwanda, and at the same time is Bishop of Kibungo Diocese.
