Hundreds of young students at Aidisadel College greeted the Archbishop and his party as he visited St Nicholas Chapel in the Anglican run school. He also visited St Nicholas Theological Seminary and heard of their future plans for development.

Archbishop Rowan Williams dedicated a new edifice for Christ Church, Serrekunda, in The Gambia.
A rich mixture of Anglo-Catholic ceremony and exciting music made up the three hour service.
Here the diocesan bishop, the Rt Revd Dr S Tilewa Johnson, and the Archbishop of Canterbury
join in the praise of God through the music offered by the choir.

Archbishop Williams received an African motif Cope and Mitre during a service of welcome at St Cyprian's Cathedral, Kumasi, Ghana. Here the procession leaves the Cathedral after the very moving ceremony. To the left of the canopy is the Roman Catholic Archbishop of the area.
