A second generation of South Africa's Tutu family entered Anglican ministry on Saturday 7 June when the Revd Mpho Tutu Burris was ordained deacon by the Rt Revd Gordon Scruton, Bishop of Western Massachusetts in the United States. She trained at the Episcopal Divinity School, Cambridge, Massachusetts, and at the College of the Transfiguration, Grahamstown, South Africa. She was ordained in Christ Church Cathedral, Springfield, Massachusetts.
