[Episcopal Peace Fellowship] Many Muslims were moved by the words of Presiding Bishop Frank Griswold on his recent trip to Chicago. Abdul Mujahid, President of Sound Vision (Television and Multimedia Production), said that he found hope in the Presiding Bishop's message and was encouraged that a Christian faith leader would be so supportive of the struggles in the Middle East.
He interviewed Bishop Griswold in order to get his message out on his web site, www.soundvision.com, which attracts approximately 10 million visitors per month. This way a Christian message of reconciliation and hope could be spread throughout the Muslim community. The Bishop said, "A superservant always has the welfare of the global community as their first concern rather than simply their own national interest." This he said in his call for America to be a superservant, not just a superpower. For the full text of the interview please visit: www.soundvision.com/info/peace/bishop.asp
