The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, and his wife, Mrs Jane Williams, meeting with Pope John Paul II in the Vatican on Saturday 4 October 2003.

This is Dr Williams' first visit to the Holy Father since he was enthroned as Archbishop of Canterbury in February earlier this year.
