Archbishop George Carey has been a real father in God to all of us in the Anglican Communion. He is full of affection and compassion especially to the suffering party of the world. I personally remember him in his pastoral letters to the Episcopal Church of Rwanda and pastoral letters to me in 1995, 1996 supporting me as I was swimming in an ocean of problems because of lacking leadership in the Episcopal Church of Rwanda: "Onesphore be firm in faith the Lord will do His work".

We are proud of his leadership and praying for him and Mum Eileen.
