Comment from the Archbishop of Ireland, the Most Revd Robin Eames

Archbishop Robin Eames, Primate of all Ireland and the longest serving of the Primates at Kanuga commented:

"I felt that this meeting of Primates more than any other I have attended was characterised by a refreshing honesty and candour as we shared concerns and listened to each other. The spiritual dimension to our work, based on Bible study, prayer and daily worship, set the tone as we related to the needs of the Anglican Communion around the world. Our collegiality, friendship and understanding of each other as Primates has never been greater. Now we move forward with confidence to seek the guidance of the Spirit to see again what Anglicanism and Anglicans can do to further the Kingdom of the living God. I feel that those Primates who are returning to areas of great poverty, need or suppression must be greatly encouraged by this meeting."
