Concordat Betweeen Episcopal Church and Independent Church

On 17 February Bishops of the Philippine Independent Church and the Episcopal Church in the Philippines signed a Concordat of Full Communion between the two Churches.

The Concordat was hailed as historically significant by world church leaders and is seen to have far-reaching implications of the wider ecumenical fellowship of Churches. The two Churches already share a theological college in Quezon City which was the place of the signing.
