Some clerics on Sunday urged the Federal Government to overhaul the nation’s education system and restore its lost quality at all levels.
The Rt. Rev. Peter Adebiyi, the Bishop, Diocese of Lagos West, Anglican Communion, said the overhaul became imperative because of the dwindling standard of education and poor capacity of teachers.
Adebiyi told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the inability of most graduates to comprehend issues and express themselves were vivid signs of decadence in the nation’s education sub-sector.
