Wellington will consecrate and install the Rev Justin Duckworth as its 11th Bishop in the Cathedral of St Paul this Saturday at 1.30pm.
Archbishop David Moxon is the chief presider, supported by Archbishops Brown Turei and Winston Halapua.
Bishop-elect Justin and Jenny Duckworth, along with their family, members of Urban Vision and St Andrew’s Reikorangi will be called into the cathedral by kai-karanga Putiputi Mackey, QSM.
The three readings will be in Tongan, Maori and English, and the presentation will be made by a layperson, Nick Young, the Rev Henry Resink and Bishop Victoria Matthews (Christchurch).
The preachers are the Rev Martin and Alison Robinson, representing Urban Vision and prison ministry.
