Bishop Azad Marshall honoured

Lahore – Anglican Bishop of Iran and Gulf and National Council of Churches in Pakistan President Bishop Azad Marshall returned from his trip to Canada and the United States on Wednesday.

During the trip, Bishop Marshall participated in an International Conference on ‘Anglicanism’. University of Toronto Chancellor Dr David Peterson invited him to address the graduating students of Wycliffe College.

Following this, Bishop Marshall was awarded the degree of Doctor of Divinity at the Nashotah House, Wisconsin, for his services to the worldwide Anglican Communion, for his leadership in education and humanitarian service, and for his efforts to promote world peace.
