Members of five area churches join for World Day of Prayer
Delhi came together Friday afternoon to take part in an international day of prayer and to help the oppressed people of Malaysia.
About 100 Delhi residents, mainly women but also school children, came to Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church for the event.
Hymns were sung by Grade 5 students from St. Frances Cabrini Catholic School next door, prayers were made, and stories of the struggles of Malaysia were told.
Five churches from the town took part in the annual World Day of Prayer, as they have for many years.
